Picturesque site to take some really awesome photos. The bridge is colored bright red and very obvious from a distance which you can’t miss it. The bridge links the mainland to the island Fukuurashima and one has to pay a fee to enter the island. I was there at the right time in which I witnessed a small car driving across the bridge to the mainland from the island.
In itself, the island was pretty small which some structures scattered around the island.
Admission fee to cross the red bridge is 200 per person to visit the Fuguurabashi island where you can see the botanic garden and scenery of the Musushima bay with small islands near by.
The island is definitely worth a trip for a small fee. There is a picnic are accessible to the ocean and a few lookouts. It would be a great day trip in summer.
200 yen for adults to go across the bridge and explore the isle. I think it's one of the best scenery spot when walking around Matsushima.

Worth crossing and go to the island other side. Need to pay some amount.
